Sign up to be a poll watcher! Our poll watcher sign up has officially been opened for a week! If you know you want to be a poll watcher at some point during Early Voting and/or Election Day, fill out our form to let them know!

A signup for specific dates and times will open in early October, and you’ll receive access to the Secretary of State’s required training as well as supplemental training. Sign Up Here Both must be completed prior to your shift, even if you’ve been a poll watcher earlier this year.

Great ESPN article: The NBA has scheduled all teams to play the day before Election Day and will use that as an opportunity to encourage people to go vote. Teams will also be sharing voting information as a way to promote civic engagement with their fan bases.

Great Texas Tribune article. Some counties had received requests from “Stop the Steal” activist groups to allow them to inspect voted ballots from the 2022 Primary. Attorney General Ken Paxton had previously told counties, like Tarrant and Harris, to keep voted ballots confidential until 22 months after an election, only to issue a public opinion 5 days later saying the complete opposite.
